Spanish Colonial Long Table With H-Form Stretcher

Long tables from the Philippines, approx. 1860-1880. Legs and frame made of Balayong wood, center top plate in one piece of Molava wood. Both types of wood are tropical hardwood and very beautiful. Rraised on legs joined by an H-form stretcher. The Philippines was a Spanish colony until 1898 and has a tradition of European-style tables, for monasteries and Spanish-related families.
